The role of Draughtsman is available in Wiltshire on a permanent basis with a salary range of £25,000 to £38,000, depending on experience.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar Design or CAD Operation position.
Ideal applicants will be HNC, HND, BTEC, NVQ, or Degree qualified in Design, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, CabinetVision, or SolidWorks is required, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
The position involves using CAD for concept design, producing technical and fabrication drawings, and liaising with clients and manufacturing providers.

They are looking for a Draughtsman to join their team in Wiltshire on a permanent basis. The Draughtsman will ideally have the following attributes:

HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ / Degree qualified in Design, Engineering or similar
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar Design / CAD Operation position
Experienced working with metal, wood and extruded materials
Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
Be proficient using 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, CabinetVision, SolidWorks etc.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Proficient using MS Office
Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team

The Draughtsman role will involve:

Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings
Producing fabrication drawings to bespoke requirements
Communicating directly with clients to determine requirements
Liaising with manufacturing providers
Being involved in final assembly of products
Creating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plans
Updating 3D models and drawings
Checking drawings for sign off
Working in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projects
