Multi-Trade Operative
(Preferred trade: Carpentry or Brickwork, but not essential)
Job Details:
- Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire, Devizes & Southwest
- Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 (up to 40,000 OTE)
Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to work across Wiltshire & the Southwest. You'll need skills in areas such as carpentry, painting, gutter/fascia renewal, and small groundworks (e.g., fencing, slab and path laying). You must work independently or in a team, completing tasks in a single visit.
Responsibilities:
- Complete scheduled jobs, travel to sites as needed
- Perform high-quality repairs, maintenance, and small projects
- Ensure health and safety compliance
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Report job progress in real-time
Requirements:
- Qualifications (preferred): NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent experience
- Friendly, professional, good communicator, team player
- Able to work independently and efficiently, adaptable to change
