We are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join a fast-paced, dynamic team within a well-established FMCG business that prides itself on excellence and continuous improvement.   • Lead and manage site-specific Health and Safety projects, driving continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and manage the site risk assessment register, ensuring timely action and resolution of identified risks.
  • Administer and support the Incident Management System, ensuring thorough investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Establish monitoring systems to measure H&S effectiveness, identify non-conformities, and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to colleagues at all levels to foster a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring H&S awareness through briefings, meetings, and open communication.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in a Health and Safety management role, ideally within food production, agriculture, or FMCG industries.
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and experience with risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for continuous improvement and safety excellence.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and coach stakeholders at all levels.
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent qualification (essential).
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and safety-conscious culture across all departments.
