We are working with a local authority who are looking for a Senior Business Systems Officer to join their team, to fill the project role of the Solutions Architect for the NEC Housing IT business solution implementation project.
You’ll work with I&T colleagues, Implementation partner, System Supplier and Business to ensure a coordinated approach is taken to implement and deliver the NEC housing IT business solution project.
Location:Â Southwest based Local AuthorityÂ
Set-up: Remote/Hybrid – 1-day per week
Rate: £450/day, via umbrellla inside IR35
Duration: Until end of November
Hours:Â Full-time position
Responsibilities include:
- The Council’s Day to day key representative & business partner in all communications with the suppliers and key stakeholders (internal and external) for allocated portfolio of IT business solutions
- Manage adequate internal controls for the security and integrity of the solutions, ensuring that fraud and other losses are prevented and that Internal Audit recommendations are implemented promptly
- Project Manage development for relevant IT business solutions and integrations
- Continue to develop the relevant system ensuring patches and new releases provided by the software supplier are researched, tested and loaded
- Map processes and translate business requirements to IT requirements. Ensure that procedure guides and training are provided to staff as appropriate. Ensure that the organisation is provided with digital solutions to meet their changing needs
Requirements:
- Local Government experience required for initial shortlisting, then thereafter at the client’s discretion
- Extensive experience working with and developing Management Information Systems and IT Solutions in line with requirements
- Extensive experience working with and developing MIS and IT Solutions Training & Development in line with requirements
- Ability to understand, interpret and produce complex information such as Strategic Plans, Business Models, System Specifications & Operating Documents and Performance Information
