Town Planner / Senior Town Planner

Penguin Recruitment is pleased to present a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Town Planner to join a growing Planning Consultancy based in Wiltshire.

The team works with a range of clients, from national housebuilders and land promotors on major planning applications to small scale developments for individual householders.

Some of your duties will include:

• Provide planning services through the key stages in the preparation of local plans, from initial Call for Sites submissions to formal representations at each regulatory consultation stage.
• Participate at Local Plan Examinations on client's behalf, preparing Hearing Statements, Statements of Common Ground and representing sites at Hearing Sessions.
• Support clients from the very first stage through to the granting of planning permission and discharging conditions.
• Planning advice regarding the appeals process and critically, the prospects for a successful outcome.

Candidate Requirements:

• RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or related field of study.
• MRTPI or working towards accreditation.
• Demonstratable previous experience at either Planner or Senior Planner level essential.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work independently.
