Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Days & Night rotating shift pattern

Company Overview:
Our prestigious client, a leading manufacturer in their field, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. With a commitment to operational excellence and producing high-quality products, they are looking for a professional who can ensure the optimal functioning of their manufacturing processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions through preventative and corrective maintenance practices.
- Work collaboratively with production and technical teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of new technologies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and standards in all maintenance tasks.
- Assist in training team members on proper operating procedures and equipment handling.
- Support the procurement process for spare parts and maintenance materials.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Extensive experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in electrical systems, mechanical systems, and basic plumbing as applicable.
- Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and repair is preferred.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Awareness of Health and Safety regulations and standards within an industrial setting.
- Possession of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications in engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in the Food and Beverage industry or similar manufacturing environments is advantageous.
