JOB – Manufacturing Manager LOCATION – WiltshireTERM - PermanentSALARY – £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are looking for an Manufacturing, Production, Operations or similar Manager for a Manufacturing business in the Milton Keynes area. Your main duties will include assisting to improve and analyse operations across manufacturing as well as any other processes for an SME manufacturing business.The Manufacturing Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Qualified in a relevant Engineering / Manufacturing Degree with time served as a Manager.
  • Previous experience working as a Manufacturing, Production, Operations or similar Manager title within manufacturing.
  • Proven experience of improvements made within a manufacturing business.
  • Solid knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Continuous improvement or Six Sigma.
  • Can communicate with other members of staff and other members of management.
  • Knowledge of various assembly and manufacturing environments.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Experience within electro-mechanical assembly manufacturing industry - Advantageous.
The Manufacturing Manager role will involve:
  • Overseeing the responsibilities for Manufacturing, Planning and other areas.
  • Drive an attitude of continuous improvement activities within the business.
  • Consider profit and losses whilst driving continuous improvement.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure KPI’s are met.
