Are you an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference? We are currently seeking a full-time locum Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Reablement Team in Wiltshire for a 3-month contract.

About the Role:As a member of our Reablement Team, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals rebuild their confidence and enhance their daily living skills after hospitalisation. Your work will directly impact individualsā€™ ability to regain independence, improve their quality of life, and transition smoothly back into their communities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and supporting individuals post-hospitalisation to regain confidence in daily living activities
  • Developing and implementing personalised reablement plans to promote recovery and independence
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and rehabilitation
  • Training and supporting team members, sharing expertise in occupational therapy practices
  • Acting as an expert advisor on equipment provision, adaptations, and decision-making to enhance the independence of service users
  • Providing professional guidance and support to both patients and staff

About You:To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and HCPC registration
  • Extensive experience in adult community settings, with a particular focus on reablement or rehabilitation
  • Strong skills in assessment, planning, and implementation of therapy interventions
  • Excellent communication and team-working abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
  • Passion for supporting individuals to live as independently as possible post-hospitalisation
