Join a leading integrated services provider and contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at a primary school in Swindon. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to creating clean, safe educational environments looking to gain supervisory experience which will include creating rotas and supporting / managing a small team of cleaners.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management.
  • Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, tables, chairs, desks, and other hard surfaces.
  • Vacuum all soft floors and carpets, including barrier matting.
  • Clean and sanitise touch points, door handles, push plates, and other frequently touched surfaces.
  • Ensure adherence to colour coding directives and regular changing of mop heads, cloths, and other equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge of the use of cleaning chemicals, including COSHH.
  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school environment, though full training will be provided.
  • Appointment to this role is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service Check (DBS).
