Class People are urgently seeking Secondary Supply teachers for a mixed comprehensive school in Devizes, Wiltshire and has an Ofsted rating of “Good”. The school caters for 11 to 18 year olds and is near the town centre. The roles are short and long term and can fit around you own availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering interactive and engaging lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Teach following the curriculum and lesson plans provided by the school.
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
  • Engage learners with both classroom and out of classroom activites.
  • Promote positive behaviour and inclusive environment amongst the students.
  • Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of the students.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

What you will need to be a part of the Class People team:

  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A valid right to work in the UK
  • A valid PGCE or QTS certificate
  • Strong classroom leadership and management skills
  • Previous experience in a similar education setting preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.
