We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of a retail charity store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for opening and closing the store, cashing up, managing stock rotation, maintaining up-to-date administration, and ensuring the health and safety of the shop. This role also involves assisting with the management of paid staff and volunteers.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 08:45 – 16:45- Shop is open Mon – Sat | You will be required to work flexibly over 5 days per week
Day-to-day of the role:
- Open and close the store according to established procedures.
- Handle cashing up processes at the end of the day to ensure accuracy of transactions.
- Manage and rotate stock on the shop floor to maintain freshness and appeal.
- Keep all administrative records up-to-date and accurate.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks and reporting any concerns.
- Assist in managing both paid staff and volunteers, ensuring a productive and positive work environment.
