Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a Supported Housing Worker based in Wiltshire.
The purpose of this role is to provide person-centered, high quality support and housing management service to single homeless clients, with low to medium level needs, living in designated properties. To ensure that clients move-on sustainably to greater independence within defined timescales.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £24,500 per annum.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Give clients advice, information and provide an enabling service so that they can be signposted to and access appropriate services.
- Ensure clients are aware of their rights and responsibilities in relation to their licence agreement.
- Maintain client records that are accurate and fully updated using the Julian House client record system.
- Provide effective housing management service for clients and identified properties.
- Responsible for the day-to-day health and safety, and safe running of the service including liaison with external contractors.
Person Specification
- Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs.
- Have a valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Participation in an on-call rota (approx. 1 in every 4 weeks).
- Knowledge and understanding of Benefits and Housing Benefits system.
- Ability to undertake Needs Assessment and Planning for people with complex social needs which includes taking a lead on multi agency working and partnerships.
