Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Devizes, WiltshireSalary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum

We are seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming school community in Devizes. Starting immediately, this full-time, permanent role offers a rewarding opportunity to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other learning needs, helping them achieve their goals in an inclusive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Tailored Student Support: Provide one-on-one and small-group assistance to SEN students, supporting their engagement with the curriculum and promoting skill development.
- IEP Implementation: Work closely with teachers to implement and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring each student's specific needs are met.
- Positive Behaviour Encouragement: Foster constructive behaviour and help students develop their social skills, creating a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Tracking and Reporting: Monitor student progress, maintaining records and sharing updates with teachers and parents to aid individual development.
- Experience: Previous experience in special education is advantageous, but we welcome applications from individuals passionate about helping children succeed.
- Skills: Excellent communication, patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach to working with students.
- Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English proficiency is preferred, though not essential.
- Competitive Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 per annum, depending on experience.
