An exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to lead a team in the manufacturing/ retail industry. This permanent role requires an experienced individual with a strong background in Accounting & Finance.

Description
The role is to provide day to day management of the finance function, ensuring excellent service and support is provided to all areas of the business whilst ensuring that the business is best placed to make challenging commercial decisions
Financial Management:
路 Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
路 Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
路 Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
路 Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to ensure realistic and achievable budgets.
路 Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, providing insights into variances and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
Strategic Planning:
路 Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to the senior management team, supporting business decision-making.
路 Monitor financial performance against strategic goals and objectives, identifying areas of risk and opportunity.
Team Leadership:
路 Lead and mentor 2 transactional staff in the finance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
路 Ensure that the team operates efficiently and delivers high-quality outputs.
Profile
My client is open to newly qualified accountants with manufacturing exposure or established qualified accountants with experience.
A successful Management Accountant should have:
路 Relevant professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
路 Relevant experience gained from the manufacturing sector
路 Experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous.
路 Excellent communication skills
Job Offer
- An annual salary of around 拢50,000 to 拢60,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid Working (site based 4 days initially and 3 days a week after probation).
