Search Consultancy is supporting a logistic company and is seeking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to support their finance team in Dewsbury on temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is ready to manage and optimise their purchase ledger processes within a supportive environment. As this role is a temporary contract we are looking for someone who is immediately available and is ready to start as soon as.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for managing the company's purchase ledger. Your duties will include processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and ensuring timely payments. You will liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies, maintain accurate records of all transactions, and prepare regular reports on the status of the purchase ledger. Additionally, you will assist with month-end closing activities and support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need to have proven experience in purchase ledger or a related field. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent attention to detail. You should be capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel, is also required.
