Contracts Manager - Structural Steel - Dewsbury

We are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager with strong structural steel experience. This role is based in Dewsbury and requires at least 5 years' experience in construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main client contact, attending meetings and managing communication.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Produce contract programmes, construction plans, and H&S documentation.
  • Manage subcontractors and internal teams for design and drawing processes.
  • Handle variations, advising clients on cost and programme impacts.
  • Oversee financial performance to maximise profitability.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
  • Liaise with main contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth delivery.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' construction experience; structural steel experience essential.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication and erection/site processes.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
