As they continue to grow, they are looking for a dedicated and proactive Compliance and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Officer to join the team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance:

    • Develop, implement, and manage compliance programs to ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations, including safety standards, environmental laws, and labor regulations.
    • Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify and resolve compliance issues related to manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain management.
    • Train employees on compliance policies and procedures, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies and prepare all necessary reports and documentation to maintain compliance.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):

    • Design and execute CSR initiatives that align with our company's values, focusing on sustainable manufacturing practices, ethical sourcing, community engagement, and employee welfare.
    • Manage partnerships with NGOs, local communities, and environmental groups to support our CSR objectives.
    • Monitor and report on the effectiveness and impact of CSR programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
    • Promote sustainable practices within the company, from reducing waste and emissions to supporting responsible sourcing and fair labor practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in compliance, CSR, or a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices related to environmental impact, health and safety, and labor laws.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing CSR initiatives with measurable impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organised, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
