As a Mechanical Design Engineer, youll report directly to the Engineering Manager and focus on the design and development of new Machinery and Equipment. This is a full life-cycle role where youll oversee design projects from initial conception, including blank sheet design, specifications, 3D modelling and taking designs through to testing & manufacture.
This is a great opportunity to work in a multi-skilled Engineering team consisting of Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and Applications Engineers on complex machinery and equipment.
Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements
- HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- CAD Inventor / (desirable and others considered)
- Sheet Metal Fabrication & Complex Machined Parts (essential)
- Experience in Machinery Design (desirable)
- Experience in a Production/Manufacturing Environment
- Flexible Working
