Role Overview

We are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school on a full-time and long-term basis, starting immediately after the school Easter holidays. You will play a crucial role in supporting the teachers and contributing to the overall development of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who need additional help.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Supervise students during break times and school activities.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of school events and trips.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is an advantage.
