Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join this primary school team The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, a strong understanding of child development, and the ability to support and inspire young learners. You will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide individualized support, and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of our school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support students with special educational needs
- Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources
- Participate in school events and activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
