Group Financial Director

IPS Finance is supporting an extremely successful, highly profitable market leading 20m turnover manufacturing organisation which is about to take on private equity investment.

Along with a competitive base salary and car allowance there is an equity option for the appointed Financial Director.

We are looking for an experienced qualified financial controller or financial director who has worked within the manufacturing sector and can be the right hand person to the MD.

The appointed Group Financial Director is supported by a Financial Controller and will;

• Run the financial operations.
• Attend Board meetings presenting the monthly accounts and providing insightful commentary.
• Work closely with the manufacturing functions and Operations Manager to improve efficiencies.
• Lead of systems upgrades.
• Assess aquisition targets.

Roles and responsibilities;

• To manage and run the overall Finance operation.
• Provide leadership for the finance function.
• Work closely with the Group Managing Director.

What we are looking for;

• ACCA, FCCA or CIMA qualified
• Experience in the Manufacturing Sector
• Hands-on approach
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Flexible with a strong work ethic and be capable of hitting accounting deadlines
