People Solutions is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a Monday to Friday role with start times between 03:00 and 06:00.
The pay rate for this position is £15.50 per hour, with the potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.
Candidates must hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence for a minimum of two years and have two years of experience driving Category CE vehicles.
Essential qualifications include a valid UK CPC, Digital Tacho Card, and a maximum of six penalty points without major endorsements.
The role involves trunk runs, container work, and ensuring safe and timely deliveries while complying with company policies and driving regulations.

HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 03:00 - 06:00 STARTS

PAY RATE: £15.50 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Grange Moor, Kirklees.

This is role could be ongoing for the right candidate.

Day to Day Duties

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, the day to day duties include but are not limited to:

Trunk runs to other depots
Container work
Occasional store deliveries
Double deck trailers
Drive a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
Make on time deliveries and collections
Abide by driving rules & regulations
Comply with company policies and procedures
Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed to a high standard
Ensure all loads are safe and secure

Essential Skills

Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence and have held for this for a minimum of two years
Two years' experience driving Category CE vehicles
Hold a valid UK CPC and Digital Tacho Card
Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes (IN, DR, DD, TT etc)
Work in a professional manner

Desirable Experience

Previous experience working on containers and box trailers is desirable, but not essential

Training

All drivers must pass a driving and written assessment to be successful for this role
