Stafflex is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter for a temporary to permanent position in Dewsbury, WF12, with pay set at £15.50 per hour.
The role involves fitting hydraulic components such as cylinders, valves, pumps, and motors, as well as assembling and repairing units.
Candidates should have a good knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical fitting experience, along with the ability to self-manage and adhere to schedules.
Part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate, and the working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 4 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 3 pm.

Mechanical Fitter

Duration: Temporary - Permanent

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pm, Friday 7:30am - 3pm - 39 hours

Part Time hours will be considered for the right candidate.

Pay: 15.50 p/h

Stafflex are actively recruiting on behalf or our client who have been producing specialised, high end, bespoke and low quantity projects for the fluid power industry for over 30 years.

Duties:

Fitting hydraulic cylinders, valves, pumps and motors
Building new items from printed designs as well as repairing and reworking units in for refurbishment
Assembling and fitting hydraulic cylinders
Assembling the cylinders with parts and seals, oiling the parts through the fitting process
Using handheld tools

Requirements for the role:

Good knowledge of hydraulics
Mechanical fitting experience
Ability to self-manage and work to schedules
Willing to work overtime when required
Great timekeeping skills
Good work ethic
Good eye for detail required
