Salary - Up to £39,847 per annum + £4,000 welcome bonus
Location - Leeds, West Yorkshire  
Hours - 40 hours per week

Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs. Together we are seeking an experienced senior Registered Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) to work within a male Mental Health hospital for men ages 18+ based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

As a Deputy Ward Manager ( RMN ), you will ensure all patients in this service receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

The role of the Deputy Ward Manager ( RMN ) is to provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team, supporting the Ward Manager. You will have defined delegated responsibilities from the Ward Manager.


Requirements

  • A relevant nursing qualification ( RMN )
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 2 years of mental health experience as a senior nurse, in the UK
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A high level of clinical experience and leadership that provides expertise and confidence to the nursing team and ward overall
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
