We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Wakefield. This full-time position is available immediately and offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on student's understanding of religion and ethics.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Religious Education or a related subject.
  • Proven experience teaching RE at the secondary level (KS3/KS4).
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Passion for the subject, with the ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging RE lessons across KS3 and KS4, aligning with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging open dialogue and respectful debate on religious, ethical, and cultural issues.
  • Assess, track, and report on student's progress, providing tailored feedback to support their development.
