Stafflex Education is working closely with a leading Further Education College in Kirklees who require temporary SEND Support Workers. We're looking for passionate, adaptable, and caring individuals to support students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in various college centres across Kirklees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the learning and personal development of vulnerable SEND students, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Build supportive relationships with students, boosting their self-esteem and confidence.
  • Provide physical and personal care as needed, promoting independence.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting, with a solid understanding of SEND and EHCPs.
  • Strong communication and digital skills, able to follow the class tutor's direction and take initiative when required.
  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g., GCSEs in English and Maths, A*-C).
