Financial Controller - Didcot (hybrid) - £80,000 to £90,000

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Responsibility for all month end reporting across central cost departments ensuring accuracy, completeness and that all deadlines are achieved
  • Managing the month end close process
  • Responsibility for preparation of the month end reporting packs for the Board, external investors and debt providers
  • Leading the annual audit and accounts prep process
  • Finance lead on all relevant systems
  • Implementing systems and controls improvements across the Group
  • Ownership of the Group VAT reporting and assisting with wider Group tax compliance
  • Assisting with formulation of budget and forecast for central cost department
  • Be the internal lead for all technical accounting queries
  • Weekly Cashflow forecasting
  • Leading a team of four

Qualifications, skills and experience required for the position of Financial Controller:

  • You must be ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with senior leaders
  • Well organised with the ability to deal with multiple projects and priorities

This role is paying circa £80,000 to £90,000 per annum as well as offering a competitive benefits package including pension, healthcare, hybrid working and much more.
