About the Job

As the Financial Controller, you will be a key player in the Group Finance team, responsible for consolidated financial reporting, tax compliance, and statutory reporting. You will lead a talented team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial data and contributing to the organisation's success.

Duties will include:

  • Managing the production of monthly consolidated group management accounts.
  • Overseeing budget and forecast processes across the organisation.
  • Coordinating financial reporting to the parent company, board members, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK and overseas taxation requirements, including VAT.
  • Producing and managing annual statutory accounts and supporting year-end audits.
  • Leading a team of accountants, focusing on professional development.
  • Driving process improvements and providing additional financial analysis.
  • Managing payroll reconciliations, sales reporting, and lease administration.

About the Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least three years of experience in consolidations. You will have strong technical accounting skills, an excellent understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP standards, and a proven ability to manage deadlines. Experience with SAP and multinational groups is highly desirable.
