Our client, a trusted mission partner in the space sector, is currently seeking a Product Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. This permanent role involves working on some of the most exciting and innovative projects within the space industry, focusing on robotics, satellite systems, and space exploration.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide P.A. inputs to bids, proposals, contract documentation, and customer negotiations
  • Verify contractual requirements for quality and assurance, and develop product assurance plans, including tracking and implementing changes
  • Ensure that P.A. plans are adhered to throughout the entire project lifecycle, both internally and with suppliers & sub-contractors
  • Plan and implement acceptance procedures along with manufacturing and testing gate reviews
  • Generate project documentation conforming to internal and/or customer CADM requirements
  • Control the non-conformance process and provide PA guidance to engineers
  • Enforce company policies and processes, promoting best practices across the company
  • Perform audits and facilitate continuous improvement processes
  • Contribute to, maintain, and update the Quality Management System


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a Product Assurance role, ideally in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Degree in a technical discipline
  • Experience working with optical sensors, digital communications, or robotics
  • Familiarity with software testing tools like Jira and Loadrunner
  • Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and management
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent written and verbal communication
  • Understanding of ECSS standards (desirable)
