Full time Head Chef required for pub and restaurant re-opening in South Oxfordshire in October/November. The George at Upton (formerly The George and Dragon), is a semi-rural village pub on the edge of The Ridgeway, located in an affluent area in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The building is currently nearing completion of an extensive £200,000 refurbishment to provide up to 80 covers inside, and additionally a further 100+ in newly landscaped gardens. You will be an existing Head Chef, or even an upcoming, ambitious and creative Sous Chef looking for your first Head Chef role. You'll have a proven performance record to bring to this exciting new business, and will be responsible for leading a kitchen brigade delivering first class conception and execution of high quality gastropub dishes with quality ingredients and provenance, to serve alongside our high quality wine, spirits and draught offer. You'll also have strong knowledge of premium food offers and emerging tastes and concepts in the locality and beyond, and have a broad understanding of meeting GP, sales targets and the many other demands of such a senior kitchen role.

We are looking for the successful candidate to join us in October or November and will be interviewing immediately.
