Our client, a leading organisation in the Highways Transport sector, is currently seeking an Experienced Civils Site Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and transferring control using a Total Station
- Conducting quality control processes
- Setting out and issuing permits, including Permits to Dig, HWP, and Permits to Enter
- Applying engineering principles to site activities
- Utilising knowledge of excavation techniques and compaction of stone
- Managing and supervising project activities to ensure successful delivery
- Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Experience in site engineering within the highways sector
- Proficiency in setting out and using Total Station equipment
- Understanding of engineering principles and quality control processes
- Ability to issue permits and manage site documentation
- Knowledge of excavation techniques and compaction of stone
- Holding a current Temp Works qualification is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Capacity to work effectively under contract conditions
