Your new role
This role within NWS ensures consistent and appropriate reporting across the company, focusing on project and programme reporting but extending to all divisions and functions. Reporting to the Reporting & Performance Senior Manager, the role involves managing NWS frameworks to produce P3M reports, developing business intelligence solutions using Power BI, and maintaining high-quality reporting standards.
The role requires expertise in reporting tools, project controls, and P3M principles, and includes performance monitoring, data analysis, and engagement with colleagues. Additionally, the role supports the design and development of the reporting vision and framework, contributes to business planning activities, and leads the development of Power BI capabilities within the user community.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Recognised formal Project Management qualification (e.g., PMI, Prince2)
  • 5+ years P3M experience, proficient in Power BI and stakeholder management
  • Experience in performance data/reporting in regulated/complex industries
  • Skilled at analysing large datasets, effective communication, and numerical/analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence decision-makers, effective stakeholder management
  • Ability to prioritise work, manage expectations, meet tight deadlines, and solve problems
  • Expertise in developing reporting products, interpreting data, and using tools like Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for presenting complex information simply


Responsibilities
As a subject expert in business-wide data and reporting, you'll design, deliver, and maintain reporting systems, support colleagues, and ensure report accuracy. You'll review and improve reporting processes, provide updates on trends, and communicate complex information simply. You'll also promote Power BI, lead analysis, and transform data into actionable insights. Working closely with the Reporting & Performance Senior Manager and the EPMO team, you'll help achieve strategic objectives, share best practices, and manage Reporting Analysts and P3M Power BI Developers.
