About the Role:

Join our specialist team installing the latest medical imaging technology in hospitals and clinics across the UK and Ireland.

This is a rare opportunity for professional people with a C+ E licence and strong mechanical, electrical or practical skills to develop a new and very different long-term career working with the UK division of a respected international company. Full training and support given leading to highly regarded specialist certification.

The role involves travelling to hospitals, clinics and research facilities across the UK and Southern Ireland, with opportunities to work occasionally in northern Europe, to install the latest state of the art MRI, CT and other medical imaging equipment as part of an installation team.

As well as your electrical or mechanical skills, a professional manner is required, as is the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, project managers, technical support, and clinical staff. A confident manner and experience of leading or guiding a team would be an advantage, but guidance and support will be given to develop these capabilities over time.

Technicians can expect to be away from home most weeks to work and spend an average of 3 to 5 days on each installation. Depending on system and location, installation projects may start at weekends and time flexibility is required with adequate rest periods at home between installations as an integral part of this salaried role.

This role would suit a professional driver with intertest of experience in mechanical, electrical, engineering or installation related work looking to develop a long-term career.

Our UK base is located in Didcot Quarter in Oxfordshire but since installations take place across the country with travel direct to site applicants from all areas of the UK are invited to apply.
