Position; Motorsport Planning Coordinator

Location; Didcot

Salary; £35,000 circa per annum

Planet Recruitment have registered an exciting new permanent opportunity in the Didcot area for a well-established organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible of coordinating employees across the business using the Planning Calendar, with an emphasis on the percentage of the workforce who travel internationally throughout the season.

This is a full-time permanent position and will be based in Didcot on a hybrid basis (standard 3 days in office but some flex depending on the individual) but will also involve some expensed travel. Working hours are 8am - 3:30pm.

Main responsibilities;

  • Allocation and recording of all motorsport activities
  • Personnel planning at motorsport events
  • Managing event schedules
  • Event accident reporting
  • Time management reports
  • General circuit requirements
  • Managing invoices and purchase orders
  • Liaison with other internal departments to coordinate events
  • Requirement of some travel

Experience / Qualifications;

  • Excel, SAP, EBP and being a computer literate individual is essential
  • Experience of calendar / diary management
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own transport
  • To be fully flexible and meet deadlines
  • To be able to prioritise work under pressure
  • To be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • To be able to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience in a motorsport and/or planning events role would be advantageous.
