Description
The Finance Business Partner will:
- Develop, manage and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders
- Develop and maintain good understanding of allocated business model (incl. activities, challenges and objectives)
- Develop and promote the Finance Business Partnering function by increasing awareness and understanding of financial policies, processes and controls across the organisation
- Ensure compliance and good governance with financial regulations and accounting standards
- Provide timely advice on the preparation of proposals and tenders from financial perspective, identifying and quantifying associated costs, benefits and risks
- Provide strong financial analysis and insights that link financial management reports to the business strategy
- Analyse, interpret and communicate financial and performance data
- Co-ordinate the development of financial plans for allocated stakeholders
- Prepare indicative budgets for stakeholders
- Provide timely and accurate information, financial guidance and advice to Project Managers and Budget Holders to allow effective budget management
- Financial management of projects including claim preparation and invoicing, monitoring and analysis
- Analyse, interpret and communicate monthly financial reports
- Produce accurate financial forecasts and plans identifying, quantifying, where possible, and highlighting potential opportunities and risks.
- Lead the preparation and execution of external project audits
Profile
The Finance Business Partner will be/have:
- Experience of supporting effective financial management and reporting
- Experience in a similar role
- Computer literate with excellent Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Immediate availability
