Pertemps are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager for a well-known brand based in Didcot, South Oxfordshire.
Warehouse Manager Duties:
- Manage the transition from in house warehouse operations to other third party partners.
- Oversee handover and support with training third party partners where required
- Develop strong relationships with 3PL partner to ensure clear communication and goal alignment
- Create reports on 3PL operational performance, inventory status and any discrepancies or issues.
- Monitor storage utilisation and inventory accuracy, ensuring alignment with business forecast
- Analyse operational trends and performance data to identify areas for enhancements or improvements
- Feedback analysis, storage plans and any other relevant information to internal stakeholders
- Oversee 3PL invoicing
- Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives
- Review service contracts and negotiate terms where necessary
Warehouse Manager Requirements:
- Experience leading teams in a logistical environment
- Experience managing 3PL contracts
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Analytical skills with the ability to communicate data insights
- Willingness to be hands on with work
- DVLA issued driving licence
Warehouse Manager Package:
- Monday to Friday
- Salary up to 60,000, depending on experience
- 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
- Additional day off for your birthday
