The Site Manager shall:
Attend Client / progress / briefing meetings
Update contractor project reports/programmes in advance of meets
Attend progress meetings and developing progress report for senior management and or meetings
Work with the design team to develop designs
Deliver and schedule works with direct labour and sub-contractors
Attend Pre Start meetings
Manage H&S on site including inductions of GRAHAM staff and Subcontractors
Record Site events and conditions
Liaise with the end users to make sure they are kept up to date with progress and requirements
Ensure all works are completed to high quality
Manage Works on site including staff & Subcontractor management
Manage works to deliver to programme
Self-snag works prior to completion of works
Collate material orders and issue to Service Desk for ordering
Report to senior management
Complete O&M manuals on completion of projects

This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the job title and the range of duties to be undertaken. It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.
About You
Essential Criteria
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
- Demonstrate relevant previous experience in a similar role working within a trade or construction background
- CSR/SAFEPASS/CSCS Card
- Health & Safety Induction Including Management System
- Demonstrate previous relevant management experience
- Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and ideally Project
- Full UK drivers licence
- First Aid at Work
- Proven Leadership and people management skills
Desirable Criteria
- NVQ in Construction Management (or equivalent)
