Hays Marketing are currently supporting an Oxfordshire based client who work within the manufacturing sector and due to expanding their in house marketing team now have a need for an experienced marketing executive.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering elements of marketing campaigns and events activity as well as liaising with retail partners to ensure the business is top of retailers minds and support collaborative working with our distribution partners.

The Role

  • Support and deliver elements of the strategic initiatives and contribute to delivery against revenue targets.
  • Create relevant communication materials to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the Email marketing schedule and content creation for the Retail Channel
  • Report on and analyse campaign performance
  • Brief and oversee the work of external agencies, such as designers, copywriters, and printers to check quality of outputs and to ensure they deliver to time and budget.
  • Monitoring associated budget aligned to delivering campaigns and promotional materials and providing regular feedback to the marketing team.
  • Support the Retail channel (including retailers, distributors, merchants and buying groups) and work closely alongside the Area Sales Managers and Retail Channel Head to ensure sufficient support for new opportunities and existing customer relations.
  • Initiate point of sale and product display creation, signing off artwork and production costs to maximise brand placement.
  • Manage the Retails events diary, including awards, trade shows, customer showroom visits and customer events ensuring the content is relevant and the brand is represented in line with the corporate guidelines.
  • Email marketing content creation
  • Creating specific materials to support campaigns and sales initiatives

The Candidate

  • Required skills, knowledge, and experience:
  • Degree educated or equivalent from a relevant discipline.
  • At least two years' experience in a marketing communications type role.
  • Experience of using Hubspot is very desirable.
  • Experience creating digital assets using tools such as Canva is essential.
  • Experience of working with external agencies such as creative and print.
  • Project Management skills to effectively plan, manage and analyse campaigns.
  • Excellent proofing capabilities with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team - specifically being able to, and enjoy, working collaboratively.
