We are on the lookout for an exceptional Material Controller with proven experience working in Bonded Stores environments. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring inventory accuracy and seamless material flow within a highly regulated industry.Key Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of the bonded stores area, ensuring stock accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Perform incoming inspections of parts upon delivery to verify quality and compliance.
  • Manage the bonding in/out of materials in line with internal processes and databases.
  • Oversee kitting out of parts for multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery to support production milestones.
  • Conduct cycle counts of high-value items and oversee annual stocktakes to maintain accuracy.
  • Maintain clear records of checked-out bonded and non-bonded items.
  • Ensure COSHH cabinets and associated documentation are current and compliant.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and engineering teams to support material availability and resolve issues.
  • Update and manage MRP systems and procurement sheets to ensure data integrity.
  • Support packing, shipping, and logistics activities when required.
Key RequirementsEssential:
  • Demonstrable experience working within Bonded Stores environments.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control processes and bonded material management.
  • Technical knowledge of machined components, including the ability to interpret technical drawings, surface finishes, and tolerances.
  • Proficiency in MRP systems and Microsoft Office software.
  • Practical experience using metrology equipment.
  • Experience operating a stack truck or similar equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.
Desirable:
  • Background in the Aerospace or Space sectors.
  • Previous experience within regulated industries, such as aerospace, defence, or communications.
