A vacancy has become available for a QC Scientist with an innovative biotech company in Didcot, working at the very cutting edge of DNA sequencing technology.
This is initially a temporay agency position on a 3 month rolling contract, with excellent prospects to become permanent during 2025.
There is an excellent hourly pay rate on offer with lots of opportunities to learn, develop and progress within a supportive and friendly team environment.
The role is mainly involved in the product validation team and is a lab-based position focused on quality control on their range of sequencing products.

Key requirements for QC Scientist:
- Good solid experience in a laboratory setting, ideally within a commercial business
- The ability to work in a fast moving environment and not get thrown off if plans change during the day depending on changing priorities
- A team player who is adaptable, can show initiative and pick up lots of new skills quickly
- Good general laboratory experience, ideally with GLP and/or GMP certification (not essential)
