A new opportunity has arisen for a full-time permanent Projects Manager Grants, to lead our ongoing grant-funded projects and fundraise for new projects. We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager, ideally, with experience working on drug development grant-funded projects.

You will be responsible for the overall management of drug development grant-funded projects for a portfolio of UK and EU-funded projects (mainly, but not exclusively, Innovate UK and Horizon Europe). In addition, you will be conducting market research to proactively identify new funding sources.

Education and Experience:

  • A degree in a life sciences field, PhD desirable but not required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on project management experience in a scientific setting, managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in UK/EU funding programs (e.g. Horizon 2020, SBRI), is desirable but not required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to drive to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • outgoing, open-minded person and able to motivate a team to go the extra mile.
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Must live no more than an hour from Didcot
  • Must have full UK settlement status
  • Can start immediately
