Your new roleLocation: DidcotSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annumWorking hours: Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 5pm every other Friday off / 7:45am - 12:15pm The Subcontractors Supervisor will be responsible for the safe management of planned and reactive mechanical, buildings and civil maintenance and minor project work delivered through subcontractors. This includes reviewing Safe Systems of Work issues by subcontractors for both projects and day to day maintenance work, identifying them as suitable and sufficient or providing feedback to contractors on how they need to be improved.Responsibilities:
- Scheduling subcontractor visits, including visitor bookings, arranging or providing supervision where required and arranging access to secure facilities where required.
- Ensuring all contractors are signed up to Safe Systems of Work, including client work control documentation and individual facilities.
- Ensuring all project work is planned in a professional manner, project plans submitted, CDM regulations compliance where they apply, security clearances and site passes arranged where needed and compliance with all security and Works Controls procedures.
- Agreeing basic scopes of work
- Raise and issue quotes to clients
To be successful in this position, you will ideally be from a construction or maintenance work background, and you will be experienced in providing services within a team of technical managers. You will be a good team player and have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role. You will have strong Health and Safety knowledge as well as:
- ISOH / NEBOSH certification
- HNC or Technical Qualification or equivalent.
- Full UK Driving Licence
