Overview

Our clients are a currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team, working primarily on site for the project(s) you are delivering and with use of a regional office for any non-site days, and the possibility for occasional hybrid working.

The successful candidate will be delivering on two key projects, one located in Oxford and the other near Swindon, so being commutable to these locations is required.

Applicants should have previous experience working for Main Contractors and ideally have a background in industrial/ Warehouse/ distribution centre build related projects (or similar), however other Design&build project experience will be considered.

Successful applicants will meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 5years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally delivering industrial or warehouse/ Mega-Shed related projects, however other Design&build project experience will be considered.
  • Wider experience in commercial or built environment projects.
  • Well versed in cost management, valuation, estimating, change management and risk management.
  • Preferably a Quantity Surveying related degree or industry accreditation qualification.
  • Self-motivated, driven, ambitious and pro-active individual who is capable of working independently and as part of a wider team.
  • The successful candidate will be involved with driving the businesses success going forward, must be comfortable communicating with clients and be passionate about the work they deliver.
  • Prior UK experience working for a main contractor.
  • UK driving licence.

Expected salary of £70-80k (Flexible and dependant on experience). Package includes car allowance/ company vehicle, matched pension to 6%, private medical, life assurance and more! Excellent growth opportunities and achievable internal progression.
