We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support our Didcot-based client on an immediate temporary basis whilst they recruit for a permanent position. This role could possibly go permanent for the right person.

  • Job Type: Temporary
  • Location: Didcot, hybrid working available
  • Salary: £28K - £32K (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM (with flexibility)

As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the accounts receivable function within the finance team.
  • Assisting with credit control.
  • Resolve queries relating to sales ledger invoices and payments.
  • Processing payments.
  • Create and dispatch monthly statements.
  • Assist with the month-end sales ledger close.
  • Generate credit notes and refunds.

The successful Accounts Assistant will have the following related skills / experience:

  • Previous credit control / finance experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of MS office including Excel and Outlook.
