In this role, you will assist the Service Manager in nurturing and inspiring staff to ensure top-notch support services. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Service Manager in maintaining high standards of clinical and personal support.
- Promote independence and choice for the people supported in the service.
- Manage and ensure the delivery of the service’s quality and safety priorities.
- Directly supervise and line manage a team of Support Workers.
- Promote and lead good practice, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of the people supported.
- Perform on-call shifts during out-of-office hours.
- Work 20% of weekly hours on shift across assigned services.
- Maintain continual feedback to the Service Manager focusing on quality and continuous improvement.
- Hold delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the supported living service.

Requirements:
- Significant, recent experience at a front-line management level in the field of learning disabilities within regulated services.
- Knowledge of legislation and guidance related to adults with learning disabilities, CQC regulations, and Health and Safety issues.
- Proficient IT skills and experience in maintaining records.
- Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or a Level 3 diploma with a willingness to undertake the Level 5 apprenticeship qualification within 18 months.
- Ability to lead and manage people, acting as a role model in all aspects of people leadership.
- Full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle.
