Warehouse OperativeDidcot£11.50 per hourTwo week placement starting ASAP following an interview.Pertemps Didcot are recruiting for someone with an eye for detail who has experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. Our client requires someone to carry out stock take on their products within their large warehouse near Didcot.Warehouse Operative duties will include:
  • Working from an excel spreadsheet to source stock locations.
  • Pull down stock from locations within warehouse.
  • Count stock levels and record on excel spreadsheet.
  • Return stock to correct locations.
  • Occasionally work from an alternative site location (transport provided).
  • Working on your feet for the majority of each working day, with some time at a desk to record. stock levels on a compute.
To be considered for this Warehouse Operative position you will have:
  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • A basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and be computer literate.
  • A good mathematical ability in order to accurately count and monitor stock levels.
  • Ability to work alone once given instructions.
  • Manual handling experience.
