Site Grounds Keeper - Permanent - Full time - Cardiff - 23,500- 26,000

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with a local charity to support them to recruit a Senior Administrator, we are proud to be assisting them in a range of positions , the charity is situated in 7 acres of grounds and easily accessible to the main transport and public transport links.

This is an opportunity to ensure the grounds look at their best all year round and to maximise your Ground keeping skills

What the Groundskeeper will will be doing
The ideal Groundskeeper will will be responsible for

* Grass cutting and lawn care - mowing, edging and ensuring a tidy appearance

• Care for flower beds and planting shrubs
• Adhere to all health and safety standards while working on the grounds
• Identify potential hazards on the grounds and escalate where necessary
• Ensure all gardening equipment is properly maintained.

What the successful Groundskeeper will bring to the team
This role is suitable for someone who has

• At least 1 year of experience working as a grounds keeper, gardener, or in a similar role. Practical knowledge of horticulture, including plants, trees, shrubs, and flower care
• An ability to work as part of a team
• A driving licence
• Experience with Grounds machinery (leaf blowers,hedge trimmers)
