Our client currently has an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing Assistant to join their team based in Dingwall.

The successful applicant will possess a strong understanding of current marketing tools and strategies, with the ability to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept through to execution. You will collaborate with the marketing team, supporting staff (e.g. developers), and external vendors to ensure the timely and budget-efficient launch of marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising.
  • Design, build, and manage presence across all social media platforms.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing these against key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI).
  • Identify trends and insights to optimise spend and campaign performance.
  • Brainstorm innovative strategies for business growth and implement testing methods to gauge their success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop landing pages and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Use strong analytical skills to evaluate the customer journey across multiple touchpoints.
  • Track conversion points and optimise the customer funnel.
  • Work closely with agencies and other vendor partners.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies where appropriate, providing leadership in their implementation.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Booking Annual Print Ads: Oversee the booking of small runs of annual print advertisements, ensuring alignment with the broader marketing strategy and brand messaging.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and manage social media campaigns, ensuring consistent brand voice and optimising engagement across all digital channels.
  • Marketing Sales Campaigns: Lead the development and execution of targeted marketing sales campaigns, working closely with sales teams to meet revenue goals and improve customer acquisition rates.
  • WordPress & Magento: Manage and maintain the companys websites built on WordPress and Magento platforms, ensuring they are optimised for SEO and user experience. Collaborate with developers and content creators to implement updates and improvements.
  • Multilingual Websites & Campaigns: Oversee marketing efforts for multilingual websites, ensuring campaigns are adapted for different regions and languages. Collaborate with translators and localisation teams to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance across all digital marketing campaigns.

Person Specification:

Essential Experience & Knowledge

  • Proven working experience in digital marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email marketing, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Strong creative abilities with experience identifying target audiences and designing digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Up-to-date with the latest online marketing trends and best practices.
  • Experience with WordPress and Magento platforms, including site management and SEO optimisation.
  • Experience working on multilingual websites and coordinating multilingual marketing campaigns.

Desirable Skills
