Be Personnel Ltd is currently seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Construction SVQ Assessor to join our client's team based within the Dingwall area.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and evaluating learners' competencies in the construction sector.

This position requires an individual who is not only experienced in the industry but also possesses a passion for educating and guiding others through their qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of learners' practical skills and knowledge in various construction disciplines.
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners, helping them understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain assessment plans that align with current industry standards and qualifications.
  • Support learners in their educational journey by offering guidance and resources to enhance their learning experience.
  • Collaborate with training providers and employers to ensure that assessment processes meet organisational needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and learner achievements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated with changes in industry practices, standards, and qualification frameworks to ensure assessments remain relevant.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of various trades.
  • Previous experience as an assessor or educator is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with learners.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry changes.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction or assessment would be advantageous these would include any of the following, A1, D32, D33 or Ld9di.
