Our client, a leading brand of farmed Scottish Salmon is looking for a new Processing Administrator to join their dynamic team in Dingwall. The role involves responsibility for ensuring the efficient processing of administrative tasks during the backshift, including filing Quality Control (QC) paperwork, processing and reconciling orders and accurate data input.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and file all Quality Control (QC) paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Process customer orders, ensuring all details are correctly entered into the EPR system
  • Reconcile orders by verifying quantities, prices, and other relevant details
  • Accurately input data into internal systems to maintain up-to-date records
  • Communicate with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling business information
  • Assist with any additional administrative duties as required

The work pattern

  • Monday-Friday
  • Backshift - usually 4pm start, possibly later, till finish roughly 12pm

Key requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in data entry and order processing systems.
  • Ability to work independently during backshift hours with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with different departments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant software.
